Would you like to be part of from the start? Børnehuset Svalereden is part of the Southeast Daycare Area in Kalundborg Municipality. We are a small kindergarten with about 30 kindergarten children and a newly established nursery with room for 12 toddlers.

Our nursery has just opened, and interest is high. Therefore we are seeking a trained educator who wants to become an important part of our integrated kindergarten and put your mark on a daily life characterized by presence, play and strong communities.

The position is primarily linked to the kindergarten, where you will be part of the work with our 3-6-year-old children. As an employee in a small integrated kindergarten we also expect that you can see yourself contributing to the nursery for shorter or longer periods when the needs of the child group or the overall task solution calls for it.

We are a small house where we lift the task together. This means that we sometimes move resources and competences across departments when the children’s needs call for it. Therefore it is important that you see the value in working with children aged 0-6 and meet both nursery and kindergarten children with curiosity, engagement, and pedagogical quality.

• Is a trained educator.
• Has experience with or interest in working with 0-6 year olds.
• Is motivated to make our integrated kindergarten something truly special with a view to professionalism and quality.
• Has strong relational skills and meets children with presence, recognition and pedagogical professionalism.
• Can create recognizable and inspiring learning environments.
• Understands working from the child’s zone of proximal development and is curious about what the child is about to learn.
• Dares to take initiative, think creatively and be a co-creator of pedagogical practice.
• Contributes with overview, reflection and professional feedback.
• Sees collaboration with parents as an important part of the daily work.

Salary and employment conditions Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between Kalundborg Municipality and BUPL.

For the position, the full-time salary ranges between DKK 34,400 and DKK 37,600 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.

The amounts are stated excluding pension, any local agreements, individual salary and variables in accordance with the collective agreement.

Kalundborg Municipality offers an attractive salary placement, where the basic pedagogical education is rewarded with 3 pay steps after a local pre-agreement. When the centrally agreed experience after 6 years is reached, there is a deduction of the initially allocated pay steps.
