Educator or pedagogical assistant with a social science profile (possibly background as social worker)

Therefore we are looking for a permanently employed pedagogue or pedagogical assistant, who either has a background as social worker or possesses a strong social-pedagogical and administrative understanding.

About the job

In daily life you will be involved in the direct pedagogical work with the well-being and development of the children and young people as the absolute focus. At the same time you will become an important resource in our written and administrative work.

Your main tasks will be

• Participate in daily pedagogical practice, create safe relationships and support the children's/young people's individual needs.
• Prepare and update pedagogical plans, status reports and other documentation of high professional quality.
• Navigate safely in the authority cooperation, including contact with caseworkers, network meetings and follow-up within the framework of the Social Services Act.
• Contribute to linking the pedagogical effort closely with the social-pedagogical goals.
• Leadership sparring and on-call/back-up function.

Who are you?

We imagine that you are educated as a pedagogue or pedagogical assistant, preferably supplemented with a background or experience as a social worker (or equivalent social-pedagogical experience).

• Are good at building relationships and meet children, young people and relatives with recognition and empathy.
• Can keep a cool head and maintain an overview even when everyday life is busy or complex.

• Are able to work in a structured way and have the ability to juggle several tasks.
