Maternity leave vacancy as pedagogical assistant at Børnehuset Vestervold in Varde

Kindergarten Vestervold is looking for a trained pedagogical assistant for a maternity substitute of 37 hours per week. We hope you can start on December 1st or as soon as possible thereafter. Please note that we continuously conduct interviews.

A bit about us

Børnehuset Vestervold is a small kindergarten with 30 kindergarten children and 16 toddlers. Our nice kindergarten is located in the middle of Varde town, close to the Music and Art School, Varde Library, the Museums, Arnbjerg Park and all the other offerings in town.

In Børnehuset Vestervold we have a strong and close collaboration with the parents and an active parent council, which always supports the various initiatives and events we offer. We celebrate diversity and inclusion and believe that autonomy, competence and belonging/affiliation contribute to motivation and job satisfaction.

We base our values on trust, care and respect through recognition and presence in the relationship, in the pedagogical work. We work based on the 8 interaction themes in ICDP, a respectful view of humanity and are focused on, through a basic attachment-building relational work, supporting, guiding and challenging the children to master new skills and acquire new competencies within their zone of proximal development.

Furthermore, we are concerned that our pedagogical work in all respects should create value for the core task, namely the children. We must know our 'Why'!
