Engaged and appreciative pedagogical assistants for Damperen on Vesterbro

Do you want to be a pedagogical assistant in a large house with a focus on professionalism, well-being and strong collaboration?

We are seeking pedagogical assistants for our toddler unit with a start no later than December 1, 2026.

Damperen is an integrated institution with 84 toddlers and 88 preschool children. Damperen is part of Cluster D and is located at Eskildsgade 7 and 17 on Vesterbro.

The toddler unit is housed in large, bright rooms spread over three floors at Eskildsgade 7. We have many square meters in a large house, so we work in small groups and use all available rooms.

In addition we have three playgrounds focusing on the motor development and senses of the small child.

As a pedagogical assistant you will either join a room with two other staff on a fixed basis or join as a “floater” in a team of a total of 7-10 staff.

The preschool is located at Eskildsgade 17, in a listed house with winding corners and lots of space. Here there is an outdoor play area in the old stables as well as a small playground in front of the institution.

Our outreach location “Galoppen” runs to Ishøj village, where we have another large house. Here we use the outdoor area as much as possible, both on our nature site and in the surrounding area.

Children and pedagogical staff rotate between being at our outreach location and at Vesterbro in a two-week cycle.

Employment terms

Salary and employment terms according to the applicable collective agreement and within the framework of local pay formation.
