Then you may be the one we need at Vasegården!

We are looking for two pedagogical assistants for 37 hours per week with start on January 1, 2027. You should want to become a part of our everyday life and help create good conditions for the children’s well-being, development, learning and formation. You will be employed in "the whole Vasegården" and temporarily attached to either the oldest group or the green room.

As an employee you are a part of the whole house and our shared task around all children. We help each other across rooms and see flexibility and shared responsibility as a natural part of daily life.

Pedagogical assistant

Regardless of which child group you are attached to, you must want to be close to the children, follow their initiatives and create safe, developing communities. We want adults who meet children with curiosity and respect, and who can see opportunities rather than limitations.

We are looking for you who would like to

• Create attentive and secure relationships, where every child feels seen, heard and understood.
• Actively participate in play and support the children in developing friendships and being part of the community.
• Follow the children’s perspectives and initiatives while also being a clearly caring adult.
• Support the children’s independence, curiosity, language and social development in everyday life.
• Collaborate with colleagues across rooms and share responsibility for the entire Vasegården’s child community.

Vasegården is part of Ringkøbing Daycare, where we are part of a larger professional community with opportunities for sparring, knowledge sharing and development across the institutions.

In Vasegården we want to create a daily life where all children feel meaningful and feel that they belong.

Our pedagogical work takes its starting point in Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality’s common view on children and young people. We meet the children with an affirming and resource-oriented approach, where we recognise each child’s strengths, opportunities and potential.
