Pedagogical assistants / Pedagogical assistant for Lindehøj School's kindergarten classes and SFO (after-school program)

We are looking for two engaged pedagogical assistants / teaching assistants for 30-37 hours for our after-school program (SFO) and kindergarten class with expected start date January 1, 2027.

Who are we?

Lindehøjskolen is centrally located in Herlev Municipality and has about 900 students from grades 0–9 and around 120 staff members. Our SFO accommodates about 330 children from 0–3rd grade and a staff group of around 24 employees. Our activities are organized into three activity teams: Movement, Creativity, and Nature & Outdoor Life . Here we create exciting and varied activities where children can play, explore, be creative and participate in different communities.

As a pedagogical assistant / teaching assistant you will be an active part of everyday life. You should be able to participate in and take initiative for activities, be present in the children’s play, and help the children who need an extra hand to become part of the community.

With us, we believe that clear frameworks and good collaboration create room for creativity, spontaneity and good experiences for the children. As a pedagogical assistant / teaching assistant at Lindehøjskolen you will be assigned to our kindergarten classes (BHK), where you together with kindergarten class leaders and educators help create a safe, structured and development‑oriented school day for the children.

You will also be an important part of our SFO, where you help create good leisure experiences, support the children’s communities and contribute to a varied everyday life with play, movement and creative activities.

You do not need to have a pedagogical education or many years of experience. The most important for us is that you want to work with children, take responsibility and engage with both the children and the community.

If you have particular interests in e.g. sport, outdoor life, music, play or creative activities, we see that as an extra plus.

Salary and employment

Salary is set according to the applicable collective agreement and the principles for new pay. We will obtain child and criminal record checks in connection with employment.
