About Burlunden

We are an integrated children's house with two nursery rooms, a family room (the room has both kindergarten and nursery children), a kindergarten group, and an outreach kindergarten group that goes to Kongelunden every day.

Burlunden Children's House has its home address on Backersvej close to Amager Strand and the metro, so there are many opportunities for outings. In addition, Burlunden has just had Denmark's best playground built, so we do not have to go far to start the good outdoor activity.

From Backersvej the bus runs every day a kindergarten group to our outreach kindergarten on Rosenlundsvej in Dragør. The outreach kindergarten has large, nice premises and is located in beautiful natural surroundings close to Kongelundsskoven and the beach. Here the children often go exploring in the forest and make projects from what they find.

With us you get good and attentive leadership. Burlunden has an educational leader and skilled and passionate staff, some of whom also have responsibilities such as professional beacons and team coordinators. At Burlunden we know that the interaction between leadership and pedagogical staff is crucial to our success in creating the framework for a good childhood. You will therefore experience that both your colleagues and the educational leader are focused on professional sparring, so we can together succeed in maintaining our good working environment and the quality in the work with the core task.

We are focused on maintaining and developing clear frameworks for our everyday life, which give you and your colleagues good opportunities to unfold your pedagogical interest in the outdoor environment to a much higher degree than is typically seen in other kindergartens.

As an assistant, you will be assigned to a room with three competent colleagues. We are looking for you who are focused on being present, and structured, and you who enjoy playing with children and can see the excitement in being in a staff group where we work with the professional working community. You must feel good to do well.

The position we currently have available is in our family room, and you will therefore have daily interactions with both nursery children and kindergarten children. In time this room will become a pure kindergarten group.

Employment terms

The position is initially 37 hours per week. If you want fewer hours, we can discuss it. We wish that you can start on January 1, 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter. Salary and employment terms according to the applicable collective agreement and within the framework of local pay formation. In connection with the employment we will obtain child and criminal records checks and take references.
