In Svaneparkens Børnehus we are looking for a new colleague for our nursery. Here you will have days filled with small victories, big smiles, play, laughter, hugs and lots of experiences. You will come very close to the children’s development and become an important adult at a time when they learn something new almost every day.

Who are we?

We are Svaneparkens Børnehus in Ikast – an institution with both nursery and kindergarten. Together with the Daginstitutionen Frisenborg we form one institution with a shared leadership.

We have 15 nursery children, 45 kindergarten children and just over 12 staff. We work in functionally divided spaces with different areas and a large, versatile playground that provides lots of opportunities for play and movement.

We work based on DUÅ (The Incredible Years), where good relationships, recognition and positive communities are the foundation for the children’s well-being and development.

And we believe we are at our best when we use each other, are curious and have room for both professionalism and humor.

What will you do?

You will become part of a small team, where you together with 4 colleagues help create a safe, caring and developmental daily life for the children.

That means, among other things, that you should

• Play, tumble, sing and explore together with the children.
• Provide plenty of presence, care and security.
• Be involved in creating good routines around meals, nap time and the day’s activities.
• Support the children in their development and help them become more independent.
• Be curious about the children’s world and follow their initiatives.
• Contribute to a daily life where we help each other and pull together.

You should want to be active, take responsibility and be an adult whom the children can rely on.

Who are you?

We are not looking for a specific education or a long CV. We are looking for a person who wants to work with the youngest children.

• Working hours: 34 hours per week.

There may be opportunities for additional hours in your own or other institutions in Ikast-Brande Municipality. We can discuss this at the interview.

Salary and employment according to the applicable collective agreement. We will obtain child and criminal records check before employment.
