Who are we?

We are the Daycare Institution Frisenborg in Ikast – a bright and spacious children’s house with plenty of room for play, movement, creativity and good experiences. Here every day about 80 children aged 3-6 years come, and we are about 16 staff who together create the framework for a good preschool day.

Together with Svaneparken's Børnehus we form one institution with joint leadership.

We work with the starting point of DUÅ (De Utrolige År), where good relationships, safety and positive communities are the foundation for the children's well-being and development.

What does the job entail?

In short: You will become an important part of the children's daily life!

You will work closely with two other colleagues around a group of about 20 children. Here you help create structure, safety and room for all that makes a preschool day fun and developmentally meaningful.

This means, among other things, that you should

• Be on the floor, on the playground and in the children's play.
• Kick off fun activities and great experiences.
• Be an adult the children can count on.
• Help create calm, structure and good environments.
• Contribute to a community where we help each other and support one another together.

You will have responsibility, influence and the opportunity to develop yourself – both professionally and personally.

We are not looking for a specific education or a long list of competencies. Instead we hope that you:

• Would like to work with children and be an active part of their everyday life.

• Dare to take initiative and contribute with your own ideas.
• Can take responsibility while knowing that we succeed best together.
• Would like to learn new things and develop yourself together with us.

You may have just finished high school, are taking a gap year, are considering a pedagogical education, or are simply looking for a job where you can use yourself in a meaningful way.

Practical info

• Workplace: The Daycare Institution Frisenborg, Ikast.
• Working hours: 34 hours per week – with the possibility of more hours by agreement.
• Start date: 1.1.2027 or as soon as possible.

Salaries and employment according to the applicable collective agreement. We obtain child and criminal background checks before hire.
