About the job

Do you want to lead a strong health administrative community and at the same time be a driving force in the development of the healthcare administrative function of the future?

In Cardiology, Pulmonary and Vascular Surgery (HLK), we are looking for a health administrative leader who can combine leadership, analysis, data understanding and development with presence, collaboration and a focus on employee well-being. We are seeking a leader with strong strategic and analytical competencies and a solid organizational understanding, who can translate data into knowledge, knowledge into action and action into improvements for both patients, employees and management.

With us you become the leader of a dedicated secretariat that every day supports patient pathways through triage, booking, coordination, registration, documentation and administrative processes. You will become an important part of the department's overall leadership chain and have a central role in ensuring that data, quality and health administrative competencies actively contribute to the department's development.

We are also in the middle of a transformation of the health administrative area, where digitalization, automation and speech recognition are changing tasks and creating new possibilities. Therefore we are seeking a leader who sees development as a natural part of everyday life and can help set the direction for the future secretariat.

Starting on November 1, 2026 or by agreement.

About the position

As a health administrative leader you will be responsible for both personnel leadership, professional development and the department's strategic support. You must be able to navigate between operations and development and thrive in the intersection between people, data, organization and leadership.

You will among other things need to

  • lead and develop the department's health administrative staff
  • support the department with analyses, management information and data basis
  • ensure qualified delivery of data in and data out to relevant partners
  • translate complex data into usable knowledge and concrete recommendations
  • facilitate development processes, workshops and improvement work
  • actively contribute to the department's transformation and digitalization agenda
  • develop and implement new workflows and digital solutions
  • ensure high quality in registration, documentation and administrative processes
  • support cross-professional collaboration across the department and hospital
  • contribute to capacity management, activity follow-up and quality development.

Who are you?

We imagine that you have experience in leadership and a relevant advanced education, for example within health science, social science or similar.

In addition, we would like you to

  • have experience from the health service and an understanding of clinical workflows
  • have competencies in analysis, development and project management
  • be strong in working with data, follow-up and management information
  • have experience with improvement work, organization and implementation
  • be able to think strategically while maintaining focus on daily operations
  • be the skilled facilitator who can bring people together around common solutions
  • communicate clearly, in an inclusive and trust-building way
  • see employee development, well-being and learning as a natural leadership task
  • have the courage to challenge habits and think anew when the task calls for it.

We offer

At HLK you will become part of a department with high professionalism, strong relationships and large ambitions on behalf of the patients.

We offer

  • a meaningful leadership position in a highly specialized clinical environment
  • opportunity to influence the development of the future health administrative function
  • approximately 10 health administrative staff with strong professional competencies, commitment and good collegiality
  • great exposure to the department's leaders, clinical staff and partners
  • opportunity to work with leadership, development, data and quality in close interaction
  • a workplace where dialogue, integrity, development and collaboration are strongly valued
  • a social and inclusive community with room for both professionalism and humor.

We believe that the best results are created when high professionalism goes hand in hand with curiosity, collaboration and respect for each other’s perspectives. As a leader with us you are expected to create followership through dialogue, support employees’ development and contribute to a working environment where people thrive and succeed together.
