Healthcare professional for citizen-centered health interventions

In Norddjurs Municipality we want to strengthen citizen-focused health interventions. Therefore we are seeking in Sundhed Norddjurs a health-professional employee who can handle a wide range of tasks within prevention and health promotion.

Below you can see a sample of your tasks

• Bridge-building and collaboration with civil society
• Individual exploratory conversations with citizens with depression
• Teaching citizens with depression based on the metacognitive method
• Training for citizens with depression
• Documentation, evaluation and quality assurance of interventions, and join our quality group
• Advertising of interventions

We imagine that you have a health-professional background, e.g. a Professional Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Health. In addition you must have:

• Extensive experience with prevention and health promotion
• Solid knowledge of bridging to civil society and familiarity with local associations and communities
• Strong health-educational competencies, including experience with motivational interviewing
• Knowledge and experience with preventive interventions in relation to health, risk factors and disease, including depression, as well as experience with the metacognitive method. You can translate your professional knowledge into actions in collaboration with the citizens
• Experience in creating good relationships with citizens with different resources and knowledge about health
• Good collaboration skills and an ability to connect to existing offerings in both the municipality and civil society
• A good overview, ability to work independently and achieve goals

You will become part of Sundhed Norddjurs, where we provide citizen- and patient-focused prevention. You will have a base at the Health House in Grenaa at Sygehusvej 15, 8500 Grenaa, but several of your tasks take place at different locations around the municipality, e.g. in connection with bridge-building. Therefore, it is also a requirement that you have a driving license.

We can offer you 37 hours per week. Working hours are primarily during weekdays in daytime, but activities may occur late in the afternoon or early in the evening when it provides the best opportunities to support health for citizens.

We close for two weeks in the summer holiday and between Christmas and New Year.
