HR consultant with negotiating talent sought for Hospital Unit Central Denmark

The health reform means that we will have more staff as of January 1, 2027, and therefore we are expanding HR with a new HR consultant. Our more than 5,000 employees will have their salaries negotiated once a year – and here our HR consultants play a central role. We help leaders in the clinical departments manage the processes, carry out the negotiations and ensure that pay is used strategically to attract and retain skilled employees. In addition to salary negotiations you will also support organizational development, recruitment, onboarding and a wide range of other exciting HR tasks in a varied everyday life.

The position is full-time with start 1 January 2027, and there is the possibility of remote work one day a week once you are well onboarded.

Your primary tasks

You will be responsible for your own professional groups and will work closely with both managers, the professional organizations, and internal partners. In addition, you contribute to the team’s other tasks within onboarding, advisory on recruitment and terms of employment, etc.

• Coordination, advice and conduct of salary negotiations with you as the main negotiator
• Teaching leaders at various organizational levels in salary negotiation, recruitment etc.
• Handling and advising in connection with job postings
• Independent case-handling areas and ad hoc tasks within the salary and personnel area

We are looking for someone who

• Has strong relational competencies and experience with – or talent for – negotiation
• Has a social science master’s degree or equivalent experience and continuing education
• Has a structured and analytical approach to task solving and is familiar with handling and processing large data materials, including e.g. salary statistics
• Preferably has experience from a complex organization and with case handling
• Thrives in an environment with high tempo, many deadlines and sometimes short response times
• Has a driver’s license – we have departments in Viborg, Silkeborg, Hammel, Skive and Lemvig, and there is an option to use the hospital’s loaner cars

You have a good analytical eye, stay calm when the pace is high, and you are able to translate complex data and rules into usable advice.
