About the job

Do you want to help lift young people into communities, work and education?

Do you want to make a difference for young people who need support, guidance and relationships? Do you have an eye for both the individual and the overall effort?

About us

We believe that every young person deserves the opportunity to succeed in work and education – and we know that it requires collaboration, courage and trust.

Ungeløftet Haderslev is a multi-year development initiative that will strengthen transitions, create job opportunities and establish strong communities for young people between 18 and 29 years. As an IPS consultant with a Guidance function, you will be a central actor in this work. You should not only support young people with mental health challenges in getting into work or education – you should also help connect the efforts with the social-psychiatric initiatives and bring the IPS method into play across.

About the position

As an IPS consultant with a Guidance function you will have tasks both in the job center and with Vejviseren. You will be the one who can create cohesion across the work with the young people and the engaged, competent and experienced colleagues from both areas.

You will

  • plan individualized, hands-on pathways for young people with mental health challenges – focusing on progression, hope and strengths. This concerns young people who need a talk about what weighs on them and/or support to handle everyday life, and who are motivated to enter work or education via an IPS effort
  • be the one who can contribute to cohesion
  • work closely with businesses, psychiatry and other actors to create realistic and meaningful job- and education opportunities
  • work with advice and guidance as part of a preventive rehabilitative and recovery-oriented effort
  • document and register the effort in relevant professional systems, including contributing to quality measurements and follow-up on result requirements.

We envision that you

  • are trained social worker/social facilitator, or have another relevant education
  • have solid experience with job-oriented work and knowledge of the local labor market
  • have strong relational competencies as well as communicative strength – and can establish contact, support and direction in meetings with both young people and partners
  • are comfortable in yourself and have a professionally curious and investigative mindset, and are methodically well-founded
  • are able to work independently and in a team, goal-oriented, structured and interdisciplinary with the citizen's goals as the starting point
  • have a sense of developing and coordinating a common direction in a complex and interdisciplinary reality
  • have a valid driver's license.

We offer

  • an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people – with method, mandate and meaning
  • an interdisciplinary function in an ambitious development project with strong local ownership and strong partners
  • an opportunity to be part of teams with high professional standards, a collegial sense of community and an informal tone – where we celebrate what we succeed with
  • good conditions for professional development, including IPS training, sparring and managerial support.

Salary and employment conditions

Expected start on 1 January 2027.

Salary and employment terms are set in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.

To ensure full transparency, we can state that the position's salary range lies between DKK 35,000 and DKK 37,000. The final placement in the range will be based on objective criteria such as relevant education and documented professional experience.

Upon hire, references and a criminal record check will be obtained.

The position is a permanent full-time role of 37 hours.
