New kitchen colleagues for Sygehus Lillebælt - Vejle and Kolding kitchens

Sygehus Lillebælt gets an exciting new task at the turn of the year, where we will operate the health and care centers in the Triangle Region. For us in the Kitchen, that means delivering meals to the new health and care centers. Kolding Hospital will provide all diets in the new setup, and Vejle Hospital the rest of the food they need at the locations. We are very much looking forward to this exciting new task.

We are therefore already seeking several new colleagues in the kitchens in both of our production kitchens at Vejle and Kolding Hospitals on 37 hours (or fewer, if you prefer – make an offer), who can help us make the food. Start after agreement.

A kitchen across the board

• We love food – and we love to cook! Our concept is buffet – with all the cold courses arranged in small appetizing tapas bowls that keep the food beautiful throughout the logistics chain and onto the citizen’s plate. We take good, well-known dishes, and give them a small twist, which surprises. We make our food from scratch, and we value good, natural ingredients and skilled craftsmanship.
• We work purposefully with climate footprint and food waste, and have many initiatives you will be part of, e.g.
• our local and national climate academy, where you learn more about the new ingredients together with the rest of us
• our recipes and development kitchen – many traditional – many with less meat – many completely meat-free
• our buffet supervision, where during meals we run between the hospital’s buffets, serve the care, move and collect food, and finally collect all recyclable leftovers
• our happiness sale, where we transform leftovers into attractive sale items for staff
• Both kitchens operate from the same menu, and the same production systems, and organize the workday into teams where 3-5 colleagues together solve a task portfolio.
• In addition to cooking for health and care centers, we cook for our inpatients and outpatients – for our staff cafeterias, and we also prepare beautiful food for meetings, anniversaries, etc.
• We will warmly welcome you and provide a detailed onboarding program that gets you settled in the tasks.
• You can freely choose between 6:00, 6:30 and 7:00 as your fixed start time on all day shifts, where most of your shifts will lie.

Who are you?

• Like us, you are passionate about good ingredients and good craftsmanship!
• You may have a culinary or nutrition education – or we can read your love of food from your CV in another way – the most important thing is that you can see yourself in the tasks and the community and have “food in you”.
• You are independent, stable and loyal – and show up with a smile.
• You have the courage for an organization with exciting and varied tasks, and small and large communities.
• Your private life allows for early start times, and you can adapt to irregular shifts here and there.
