We are seeking a social work professional for our §110 offer for youths in Birkerød.

Your tasks

You will work with colleagues with different educational backgrounds, with everyone involved in handling the department's tasks. You will have the role of contact person and be the case manager for a holistic approach to our residents. The tasks will be varied depending on the individual citizen, but you will:

• Collaborate closely with the young people to prepare assessments, individual plans and sub-goals.
• Plan, hold and follow up on network meetings together with the young people
• Document daily and professional work
• Communicate and coordinate with external partners to ensure a holistic approach
• Actively participate in the house with large and small tasks that benefit the young people (it could be practical things, activities, etc.)
• Share responsibility and influence our shared working environment and the development of our place

We are looking for a colleague who

• Preferably has experience from the social-professional field
• Has interest in and preferably experience with the target group, e.g. experience from psychiatry or addiction field
• Has professional engagement and a professional approach to users and colleagues
• Has good written skills
• Wants to work together with colleagues with different educational backgrounds
• Has courage to be part of a cohesive everyday life where all disciplines contribute to our core tasks
• Is open, tolerant, encouraging and has a positive view of people
• Has experience with or willingness to do documentation work (daily journal notes, assessments, individual plans)
• Wants to contribute to making the house feel home-like for the young people
• Places high value on professional community and can see themselves primarily working in teams, but can also work independently

About Skovporten

• Skovporten is a §110 offer under Center for Forsorg og Behandling (CFB), which is part of The Social Enterprise (DSV) in the Capital Region of Denmark. The service targets young people aged 18-30 who are homeless or cannot stay in their own housing and who need a temporary stay
• We have a professional focus on offering the young people an active and meaningful daily life, where they are involved and motivated to take responsibility for life in the house and their own development
• Skovporten has space for 20 young residents and is staffed by 19 dedicated and competent colleagues with different social and health care backgrounds
• We have theme days, social events, a soda-beverage scheme and, not least, a really good team

About the Organization

Center for Forsorg og Behandling is an organization under The Social Enterprise in the Region Hovedstaden. We consist of:

• Homelessness efforts, where we operate three §110 offers: Skansegården, Solvang and Skovporten. We have a total of 120 places for residents affected by homelessness. In addition we have a §85a housing support program, where we work with CTI and ICM with residents moving into their own housing
• Treatment, where we offer outpatient substance treatment for residents with drug and alcohol dependence. We have two outpatient clinics, located in Hillerød and Hørsholm
• ANT Courses. Alcohol, Drugs and Traffic courses. The courses are aimed at residents who have had a driving ban, a conditional or unconditional revocation of their driver's license
• Course company, where we offer courses targeted at the social-professional and pedagogical field

In Center for Forsorg og Behandling we therefore focus on several professional perspectives that characterize the life of the vulnerable citizen/resident. We benefit from both offering substance treatment and social-pedagogical efforts for residents affected by homelessness. This, together with our good collaboration with municipalities and hospitals, enables us to offer a holistic approach to citizens/residents

Employment terms

The position is permanent with 37 hours per week in rotating day (07:00 - 14:30) and evening shifts (14:00 – 23:00), and with a weekend shift every 3 weeks.

Salary and terms follow the applicable collective agreement based on education.
