About the job

Do you want to use your strong procurement and negotiation profile to ensure the right balance between professional quality and financial responsibility?

Do you have an eye for commercial agreements, and are you passionate about making citizens' needs the natural focal point?

In the Center for Disability and Psychiatry (Authority and Entrance) we are seeking a professionally strong and engaged contract negotiator. Our strategic focus is financial sustainability, where we manage the municipal resources with high professionalism, transparency and respect for each citizen's life situation.

About the position

As a contract negotiator you will play a key role in bridging the social-work interventions and the economic/contractual foundation. You will be a central driving force in further developing our negotiation practices with both private and public suppliers, so price, quality and the citizen's support needs naturally align.

You will be part of a close, multidisciplinary collaboration with our advisors, professional coordinators, financial consultants and legal expert.

Your primary tasks

  • Negotiation & agreements: Conduct structured and professionally grounded negotiations and renegotiations with suppliers in concrete citizen cases.
  • Contract management & quality: Prepare, ensure quality and follow up on contracts and supplier agreements, so they are legally and economically sustainable.
  • Counselor pairing: Support our social workers by equipping them with sharp negotiation briefs and professional-economic clarification before matching.
  • Strategic procurement & analysis: Contribute with market knowledge, tariff calculation models and financial analyses that ensure transparency in the real cost and effect of actions.
  • Supplier dialogue: Build and maintain professional and constructive relationships with our partners.

What do we expect from you?

We are looking for a profile with a strong commercial flair who thrives on negotiating – preferably with knowledge of the public framework or the social sector.

We imagine you have

  • A relevant educational background in procurement, negotiation, contract law, economics or administration – for example education in public procurement (e.g. from COK/Association of Municipalities), Procurement/Supply Chain Management, Cand.merc.(jur.), marketing economist, trader with a specialization in procurement or equivalent experience from the public or private sector.
  • Experience with negotiation, contract formation and contract management.
  • Strong analytical skills and good numeracy—you quickly see tariff structures, budgets and pricing.
  • Excellent communication skills and a diplomatic negotiation style that creates long-term and sustainable solutions.
  • Understanding of (or strong interest in) the specialized adult area, the Service Act and the framework for municipal authority exercise.
  • A structured and solution-oriented approach to tasks, even when many balls are in the air.

We offer

  • An exciting and central role with great influence on the development of our procurement and negotiation function.
  • An academically strong, engaged and informal work community where sparring and good humor are a regular part of daily life.
  • A thorough introduction and onboarding in close collaboration with management and the professional coordinators.
  • Flexible frameworks and good opportunities for competency development.

The practical

The position is a permanent full-time position of 37 hours per week with start on 1 January 2027 or as soon thereafter.

The position is anchored in Authority, where you report to the team leader.

Salary and employment conditions

Salary and employment terms are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and according to the principles of Local Wage Formation in agreement with the negotiating organization.
