About the job

Are you interested in projects and business development? Do you have experience with or a desire to build knowledge about project and development work? We are seeking a generalist who wants to work with a broad range of project-based tasks. You will become part of our development office, where you get close to what is happening in an independent appeals body.

Help drive projects and processes

In the Tax Appeals Board's development office we would like to welcome a new colleague, preferably with a couple of years of experience. The most important thing is that you are curious about business development and want to dive into our task portfolio and contribute to our development projects.

You will become part of an office that consists of nine colleagues with different academic backgrounds. We work with both larger programs and smaller development projects and governance tasks. Together we help the Tax Appeals Board develop and support the organization. We take on various tasks – sometimes in tandem – and have close contact with managers, employees and the executive. We also have ongoing dialogue with the Ministry of Taxation and the Ministry of Growth and other external authorities.

At the moment we spend much of our time implementing measures from a larger business analysis focusing on more efficient processes and increased productivity. It is a program with a strong focus across the agency, and you will also be involved in and have tasks within it.

With us you will have the opportunity to handle tasks that span a broad range, and it is therefore important that you are adaptable and ready for new challenges. Your workday may include anything from meeting with stakeholders to working on business development in a project with one of our professional offices. In your daily life you can continuously find professional sparring with skilled and experienced colleagues about your tasks.

In the Tax Appeals Board we support flexible working arrangements, and the framework for work planning you discuss with your supervisor based on the overall task solution.

Your areas of responsibility and primary tasks are, that

  • Project manage new or support ongoing projects and processes as they follow up on the agency's business analysis
  • Coordinate initiatives and tasks that ensure a successful implementation of activities in the organization
  • Support the agency's strategic work and business development
  • Prepare written recommendations, including analyses, memoranda, presentations to the agency's executive board and management team.

With the tasks we imagine that you

  • Have a social science higher education and preferably a couple of years' experience with governance tasks, organizational development and project work
  • Are curious and want to move around in the business to become wiser about the offices' processes in relation to a secure implementation of our productivity agenda
  • Contribute to good process management in the organization and towards the executive, where you are mindful to meet deadlines and ensure results
  • Have strong communication skills both orally and in writing and have good collaboration abilities – you want to be part of a team and achieve results together with others.

Your new leader Troels Winther looks forward to meeting you

“As part of Development you can look forward to collaborating with good colleagues who all are passionate about entering the agency's business area and contributing to developing the organization – with great respect for our colleagues' professionalism. In our daily work we value sparring with each other and drawing on our different competences and building shared learning. With us there are recurring tasks, but also many new tasks that come into the office, and it will give you a very varied and diverse workday.” says Troels Winther.

Did you know…

… that the Tax Appeals Board is one of the country’s largest legal workplaces, covering the full spectrum of complexity in tax law – from property assessment to transfer pricing and taxation of employees.

… that the Tax Appeals Board is an independent appeals authority. This means that when a citizen or company has received a decision from e.g. the Tax Agency, which they do not agree with, they can appeal to us. It may concern which tax or VAT they should pay. Our main task is to help citizens and businesses obtain the correct decision in their case within a reasonable processing time. Every day we go to work to ensure the fairness of the legal system, and that, we think, gives meaning to our work.
