Østre Skole in Middelfart seeks an educator for our C-track

We are looking for a skilled and professionally grounded pedagogue for our special class series in the C-track at Østre School for a permanent position with primary service to the oldest students.

Østre School's special class series, called the C-track is the Municipality of Middelfart's offering to cognitively challenged students who need special conditions to be able to realize their learning potential. For students with general learning difficulties, schooling on the C-track is an opportunity to grow at a pace that suits their prerequisites, and in this way fulfill the aims of the folkeskole and the national goal that all students should become as proficient as they can.

Østre School is a large, versatile urban school located centrally in Middelfart. We are departmentally organized and have 300 students distributed across mainstream classes (0-9), special class series (0-9 distributed across 6 classes) and SFO. There are about 50 staff.

We are proud of our students and the work with them on the C-track.

We are seeking a pedagogue who, through good and close teamwork around the students and the teaching, helps create a safe and predictable everyday life and can give the students optimal opportunities to develop their potential – academically, socially and personally.

The team around each class's task is to create a safe community that can reinforce the students' experience of being competent and able to participate in and contribute to the community.

Salary and employment terms

Workplace: Østre School – C-track

Working hours: 30-35 hours

Start date: 1 January 2027

Salary placement occurs according to the agreement for pedagogues, in day-care institutions, after-school care, clubs etc., our preliminary agreements and possibly individual allowances based on special competencies, knowledge or experience.

The position's salary range as a pedagogue will be from DKK 34,980 to DKK 39,930, depending on the candidate's seniority, further education and personal competences.

The salary range is monthly pay for a full-time employed pedagogue excluding pension.

A child-attest and a criminal record check will be obtained.
