Who we are

Aktivitetshuset in Hobro is an activity and social offer (SL §104) for adults with significant physical and/or mental disabilities. There are 50 adult citizens with developmental disabilities of various types and extents.

Our main task is to support citizens' life mastery through meaningful activities, social communities and meaningful relationships. We work from an affirming and relational approach, where citizens' self-determination and participation are central to everyday life.

We place great emphasis on strong collaboration within the staff group, where we help each other, make each other look good and together create the best framework for the citizens. Humor, professional reflection and a good working environment are important values for us.

Your professional competencies

We expect that you

• Are educated as a pedagogue
• Preferably have experience from the special needs sector
• Can create structure and overview in everyday life
• Can develop, plan and carry out targeted activities
• Can motivate and inspire citizens to actively participate in activities and communities
• Have an eye for citizens' individual resources and needs

Your personal qualifications

We are looking for a colleague who

• Is proactive and flexible in an active everyday life with many different tasks
• Contributes positively to the community with humor and good spirits
• Is patient and attentive to the small nuances in interaction with the citizens
• Can stay calm and maintain an overview in stressful situations
• Has a driving license and can drive a minibus

Salary and terms of employment

The position is 33 hours per week. If you want full-time, there is an option to combine the position with 4 hours in a residential facility in Mariagerfjord Municipality.

Employment is on collective agreement terms, where the salary is agreed with the bargaining organization.

Your workplace is at Aktivitetshuset Hobro, Sjællandsvej 15, 9500 Hobro.

Criminal and child protection checks will be obtained, and employment is conditional on these being approved.

To be employed by Mariagerfjord Municipality you must have MitID.
