Trekløverskolen is seeking an engaged and relationship-driven pedagogical leader for our department at Støvringgårdvej.

About Trekløverskolen

Trekløverskolen is a special school with three departments: Blommevej, Borup Byvej and Støvringgårdvej. The school has students with various communication, social, cognitive and physical functional impairments as well as students with challenges within autism spectrum, ADHD and developmental delay.

At Trekløverskolen, teachers, pedagogues, PAU ’ers, assistants, therapists and technical-administrative staff work closely together in interprofessional learning communities.

We focus on creating development- and learning environments that take as their starting point the individual student’s prerequisites, resources and zone of proximal development.

Your task

As a pedagogical leader you will be a central part of the department's leadership and development. You will be responsible for supporting a clear, coherent and professional pedagogical practice in close collaboration with staff, students, parents and the rest of the school’s leadership.

Your tasks will include, among others, to

• Set the direction for the department’s pedagogical development
• Create good frames for students’ well-being, development and learning
• Be close to daily practice and staff’s task execution
• Support strong teams and interprofessional collaborations
• Carry out personnel leadership, including follow-up, sparring and development
• Contribute to planning and coordination of the department’s daily activities
• Support work with individual education plans, status descriptions and other relevant documentation
• Ensure constructive and respectful parent collaboration
• Actively participate in the school’s overall leadership team and strategic development

We are looking for someone who

• Has a relevant pedagogical education and preferably leadership experience
• Has solid experience with or strong interest in special education
• Has strong relational skills and can build trust and commitment
• Is clear, appreciative and present in your leadership
• Can translate pedagogical knowledge into concrete practice
• Has knowledge of low arousal, conflict management and work with complex student needs
• Can create overview and structure in a changing everyday life
• Is bold and curious in dialogue with staff and partners
• Has an eye for both the individual employee and the shared responsibility
• Can communicate clearly and professionally – both orally and in writing
• Sees interprofessional collaboration as a prerequisite for high quality

It is an advantage if you have experience with leadership in a special school or another special pedagogical offering, but the most important is that you are passionate about the task and want to develop yourself as a leader.
