One of Gnisten's hallmarks is that we are a house with a strong creativity and solid pedagogy. The children meet a learning environment every day with room for unfolding, security, calm and presence. We are focused on children's voices and the possibility for partaking in decisions.

All employees in Gnisten have weekly planning time, team meeting or professional forum, where we jointly develop and qualify our pedagogical practice.

Who are we?

Barnehuset Gnisten is an integrated children's house with about 70 children and 15 staff, located in the heart of Søborg.

In Gnisten we work with dynamic organization in the kindergarten and age-integrated in both nursery and kindergarten. We place high value on the professional and social community and recognize that we are each other's prerequisites for success. Here no pedagogue works alone, together we are 100%.

In Gnisten a large part of our professional focus is based on principles of attachment, participation and communities. Skilled colleagues and clear leadership ensure continuous, professional development to benefit both child and working environment.

We expect that you

• Are responsible, flexible, stable and engaged in daily work.

• Are professionally skilled and find it exciting to work with preschool children aged 3-6 years.

As a newly employed pedagogue in Gladsaxe Municipality you will follow our introduction program. It helps you get started well so you can quickly feel comfortable in your new job. We also offer ongoing coaching and internal courses that can support your work. We are a workplace that prioritizes flexibility and a good balance between work and private life, e.g., by offering the possibility of a 4-day workweek.

Salary and employment terms are in accordance with applicable collective agreement.

As a trained pedagogue in our kindergartens you receive a lasting Gladsaxe allowance and an seniority allowance after 2 years of uninterrupted employment.

The position is 37 hours per week. If a full-time position is not right for you, we are happy to discuss another hourly rate.

Please note that only pedagogical graduates will be considered for the position. You must master Danish in writing and speech.
