Professional consultant for Trade in HK East Jutland sought

In HK Handel Østjylland we help members in, among other places, shops, warehouses and head offices with what fills their working lives and secures their rights. Your competences

You are good at involving and engaging others in our professional community. You are convincing when talking about the value of a professional membership with us and able to speak with everyone across organizational levels. You present yourself in a positive and credible manner and are very good at listening and making people feel comfortable.

You have an overview and work in a structured way and are focused on achieving the goals and milestones set for your area. You also do not mind that your efforts are evaluated on an ongoing basis. You show enthusiasm and determination and are able to negotiate and make clear agreements.

The job

The team consists of two professional consultants, of which you will be one. In addition there is an intake officer, two member advisers and five organizers. You will work with professional cases in an organizing approach, where collaboration with the elected representatives and workplace clubs is an important prerequisite for success.

The task portfolio includes among other things to

• be familiar with collective agreements and their structure and handle cases in the labor-law/federal dispute system
• recruit, develop and maintain the relationship with shop stewards and safety representatives
• ensure member growth at workplaces through cases, organizing and retention
• spot breach cases and drive collective cases in collaboration with the stewards and the sector
• handle and assess business transfers, mergers etc.
• instruct members and shop stewards
• have basic knowledge of the collective labor law and the laws of the labor market.

Salary and employment terms

The position is on average 37 hours per week including breaks, and the working hours are flexibly placed in relation to the task portfolio. The position is on fixed flexible time, which means that evening and weekend work may be required. It is a prerequisite that you have a driver's license and a car available to be considered for the job.

We offer good salary and employment terms, including an employer-funded pension scheme and a personal choice account. The salary is set based on the collective agreement and the pay policy.
