Professional Coordinator for a new temporary § 107 residential facility

By January 2027 Engbo, the municipality of Egedal's new residential facility for young adults with autism and mental functioning impairments, opens. Therefore we are seeking a professional coordinator who both wants to be part of the daily operations and at the same time help develop, support and coordinate the professional practice at the offering. You will be part of the staff group around the residents, but you will also play a central role in ensuring that our professional ambitions are translated into practice in everyday life.

About Engbo

At Engbo we meet young adults who have often experienced setbacks, loneliness, mental health challenges or difficulties finding their place in adult life. What they have in common is that they have developmental potential. They do not come to Engbo to stay, but to develop and become able to live an independent life in their own housing.

Our task is therefore to create the frameworks and learning opportunities that make them able, in time, to live a more independent life in their own housing.

It requires staff who can combine professionalism with patience, structure with flexibility, and support with the belief that people can achieve more than they think.

What will be your task?

As a professional coordinator you join the duty roster on an equal footing with your colleagues. At the same time you have 10-15 hours per week allocated to support the professional operations and development. This means you will have a central role between daily practice, the staff group and the manager of the residential facility.

Your coordinator tasks

You will, among other things, have responsibility for

• Support the implementation of Engbo's professional methods and approaches
• Provide professional sparring to colleagues
• Support work with goals, progression and documentation
• Contribute to quality assurance of the social-pedagogical efforts in our professional system
• Coordinate status meetings, resident meetings and interdisciplinary meetings
• Be the point of contact in the collaboration with external partners
• Contribute to onboarding of new employees
• Support professional development in collaboration with management

The role does not entail personnel responsibility.

You have a relevant social-, health- or pedagogical education and several years of experience with the target group or related target groups.

About the position

You get a permanent position with a combined employee and coordinator function. There are 10-15 hours per week allocated to coordinator tasks. In addition you will participate in a rotation in day and evening shifts in the time window 07:00-22:00. You will also be part of a back-up duty function approximately every 4th week.

Starting date is 1 January 2027.
