Professional coordinator for Job- and Activity Center Hørkær

We are seeking a professional coordinator who, together with the manager and staff, can help ensure and develop the professional quality at Job- and Activity Center Hørkær.

About the position

As a professional coordinator you will play a central role in supporting and developing the pedagogical quality at Hørkær. You will become an important sparring partner for both staff and the manager. You will work closely with the manager on professional development, quality follow-up, and implementation of new initiatives.

The position is not only an office job . You must be visible in everyday life and have close contact with both residents and staff. Part of the position therefore also consists of direct resident work, corresponding to about 7 hours per week .

We see the professional coordinator as someone who is close to practice and who can help translate professional knowledge into concrete pedagogical work. You should be able to lead when necessary, but also be able to step back and create room for staff’s own reflections and professional perspectives.

You are motivated by creating good conditions for both residents and colleagues, and you thrive when new ideas need to be translated into practice.

About us

Job- og Aktivitetscenter Hørkær is an employment, activity, and social center for adults with developmental disabilities under the Danish Social Service Act § 103 and § 104.

We have around 100 residents and 30 staff .

Your tasks

You will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the professional development across Hørkær.

Your primary tasks will include

• Professional sparring with the pedagogical staff.
• Support and quality assure professional documentation.
• Facilitate and support the implementation of new initiatives.
• Support the professional efforts around residents with particular challenges.
• Coordinate professional tasks widely at Hørkær.
• Contribute to professional reflection and development of pedagogical practice.
• Direct resident work about 7 hours per week.

• Working hours are Monday to Friday: 8:00–15:15 – and every other Tuesday until 16:45.
• Employment from 1 December or by agreement.
• The position is a full-time position under the current collective agreement. Salary placement occurs according to current rules.

• First interview on 21 October and second interview on 27 October.

Salary is determined according to the current collective agreement and the principles for new pay.
