Staermose Industry A/S in Odder is a modern, family-owned manufacturing company with strong competencies in metalworking. On behalf of Staermose Industry we are seeking an experienced project manager who can drive customer projects from the first dialogue to final delivery - and develop the collaboration with customers through technical sparring, proactivity and good commercial sense.

As a project manager in the steel business you will become part of a department of nine employees. You will be responsible for the entire order flow and become an important link between customers, production and subcontractors. You report to the Commercial Director & CFO, who will be your daily supervisor.

Your task is to understand the customer's needs, translate them into concrete solutions, and ensure a finished and thoroughly worked production basis. You keep track of drawings, materials, processes and agreements so production can solve the task.

At the same time you actively take responsibility for the customer relationship. You follow up, are proactive in dialogue and see opportunities to develop the collaboration. You combine your technical understanding with good commercial sense and have an eye for both the customer's needs and a sound business.

Your base is the office in Odder with the possibility of remote work and a strong influence on the arrangement of your workday.

You will have, among other things, responsibility for

• Drive customer projects and coordinate the entire order flow with customers, production and subcontractors
• Develop the collaboration with customers through proactive contact, follow-up and technical sparring
• Prepare calculations and offers based on materials, time consumption and production processes
• Create, process and confirm orders
• Work with drawings and 3D files in Inventor and ensure a finished production basis
• Obtain quotes and coordinate further processing with subcontractors
• Identify improvements in solutions and processes that create value for both the customer and Staermose Industry

Your profile

You have experience in driving customer projects and a good technical understanding, preferably from the metal industry. Your background could be as a metalworker, production technologist or technical draftsman, possibly supplemented with a relevant further education. The decisive factor is that you can translate the customer's needs into solutions and a production basis that works in practice and on time.

You can work with 3D files in Inventor or SolidWorks at user level and are familiar with the Office suite. You understand the relationship between materials, processing, time consumption and price.

As a person you are independent, structured and responsible. You keep track of details and maintain an overview when several projects require your attention at the same time.

You have a commercial mindset and good business sense. You take initiative in customer dialogue, ask questions and spot opportunities to develop the collaboration. Customers and colleagues experience you as an engaged partner who finds solutions, keeps promises and follows up.
