Tasks and qualifications

We are seeking a skilled and experienced psychologist for our office in Copenhagen. As a psychologist at Encounter you will become part of a dynamic and well-functioning team in a workplace with a high professional standard, a strong collegial community and inviting physical surroundings.

At the psychology house Encounter we work with cognitive behavioral therapy. We primarily work with the second wave, but supplement with methods from the third wave. Your primary task as a psychologist at Encounter will consist of therapeutic conversations, but there will also be opportunities for other initiatives such as hosting workshops, lectures, group therapy programs etc.

Therapy is our core competence, and therefore it is important that you as a psychologist are able to create a safe and professional foundation for conversations that can trigger a rapid change process.

Our psychology team works closely together, which enables us to raise the professional level through a number of initiatives. We offer internal supervision weekly as well as external supervision in cooperation with some of the country’s most recognized psychologists in cognitive behavioral therapy.
