Are you a trained pedagogue, and would you like to work with young people with psychiatric difficulties? Then you now have the opportunity to become part of our specialized staff group at Holmstrupgård, department Pilen.

We are seeking one pedagogue for a permanent position and one pedagogue for a maternity-leave temporary position – both 37 hours per week with start on January 1, 2027 or as soon as possible.

The target group at department Pilen is young people with schizophrenia and autism spectrum disorders, often with comorbidity such as OCD, depression, anxiety and self-harm, and the work requires strong professional understanding and perseverance.

Engagement, professional skill and good collegiality are prominent values and are highly weighted in Pilen’s staff group, which is multidisciplinary and consists of social and health care assistants, pedagogues and occupational therapists.

Job description

It requires psychiatric professional understanding and experience to work with the target group, as well as having the drive to motivate and be persistent when the young people cannot manage themselves. The work is relational with the young people based on a milieu-therapeutic approach.

The daily work consists of supporting the young people in maintaining a daily structure, and contributing to creating a positive environment. You will be part of a total team around the entire group of young people, and you will become a fixed contact person for 1-2 young people in close team collaboration.

Special responsibilities regarding the contact youth include, among others, home visits, parent collaboration and collaboration with relevant external actors. In addition, you will participate in our organizational treatment structure with team meetings, weekly treatment conferences, status meetings, supervision, and ongoing work to evaluate and develop goals and sub-goals in collaboration with the young person. It is also expected that you participate in various committees across the organization.

The work shifts between day and evening turns, shifts on holidays, and shifts every third weekend.

• Hold a driving license for a passenger car

Holmstrupgård is a highly specialized social-psychiatric day and residential care facility for young people aged 8-23 (30) years with psychiatric difficulties. In addition to day and residential care, Holmstrupgård includes a special education offer and employment, youth support, and several outpatient services. Here, nurses, social and health care assistants, pedagogues and therapists work in a strong multidisciplinary environment, which is highly valued in order to contribute as best as possible to a good adolescent life.
