About the job

We work according to the principles of the learning organization. Work is team-based and interdisciplinary, where the staff categories are pedagogues, social – and health care assistants, SOSU helpers, occupational therapists, physiotherapist, care- and education assistants as well as technical/administrative staff. You will work in a team with 6 pedagogues, an occupational therapist, a social- and health care assistant and you as an assistant. In team meetings the energy and professionalism are high.

We dare to challenge each other across disciplines. We have the responsibility to create the framework for the work with 6-7 residents, and to translate orders from the Authority into practice. Our professional foundation is LA2, KRAP and Neuropedagogy.

Employees in the pedagogical teams work, despite different educations, with the same tasks. This means that everyone supports the residents with personal hygiene and other daily tasks with different professional focus.

As care- and education assistant/SSH/PAU you will have a special responsibility for practical tasks in the team.

Ryttervej is a care facility for 40 adult residents with disabilities. The residents have various disabilities of physical, mental and social character. Their needs and culture require great openness regarding the concept of normality, lifestyle, norms and routines.

Salary and employment

This is to ensure a good start for you at Ryttervej, but also to make it safe for our residents to meet a new face.

The work plan is day- and evening shifts with evening work about 12 times in 6 weeks. There is work every other weekend and on public holidays. Public holidays are distributed evenly among the staff. We want as much influence as possible on your own working hours and we have a wish book where you can submit preferences for working hours. Most often everyone’s wishes can be fulfilled.

In Svendborg Municipality, the salary for this type of position typically lies between DKK 33,906 and DKK 40,770 per month at full-time employment. The salary includes pension, special holiday allowance and fixed allowances. There may also be shift allowances and other special payments. It is important to note that your concrete salary is determined by your experience, seniority and competences and negotiated with the relevant professional association.
