About the job

We are looking for a pedagogue for our nursery who loves exploring at child height!

Imagine a workplace where your most important task is to see the world through a pair of curious one-year-old eyes. Here a blank cardboard box becomes a cozy house, and a puddle on the playground transforms into an ocean with fish and crabs, which must be explored with rubber boots on.

As a pedagogue with us you are not just an adult – you are a captain of security, a professional tickler and a master of hugs.

Can you build tower-high castles from blocks, spot an earthworm from five meters away and keep calm when everyday life boils with dress-up chaos? Then you are definitely the one we need in our fantastic group!

In Kolbøtten we do not believe in sharp boundaries or closed doors. Although we are divided into nursery and kindergarten, we function as one big, living house. It simply means that we do not have "your" and "mine" children – we have our children! We all have our eyes widened for the child who just needs a helping hand with a tough zipper, a plaster on the knee or a wild pirate story in the sandbox.

In Kolbøtten we do not wrap pedagogy in four walls. We gladly move it out where there is high ceilings, mud to the knees and room for the biggest arm movements! Nature is our absolute secret weapon when it comes to behavior, contact and well-being.

37 hours per week, if you would like a lower number of hours, please state it in your application.

Information about starting salary

Hiring follows the collective agreement for pedagogues at day care institutions, school-age childcare, clubs etc., §§4-9. The expected starting salary for full-time excluding pension is 32,928 DKK / falls in the interval 32,928 DKK to 37,874 DKK depending on seniority. It should be noted that final placement, including collective agreement basis and salary level, is determined based on your education and qualifications and the specific offered position.

We obtain child certificate and public criminal record with consent.
