Social- and health care assistants for permanent positions in evening shifts at an exciting new unit

Are you a trained Social and Health Care Assistant and are you up for helping to start a completely new nursing home with respite beds from the ground up in Rødovre Municipality, then it may be you we are looking for.

About the new nursing home

We will together create a home and an workplace where it is good to live and work. The new nursing home will be more than a traditional care home offer. At the address, in addition to 15 nursing home places, 14 respite places will also be established for citizens who need temporary around-the-clock stay, relief or support for a limited period. The places are intended to support citizens with dementia and their relatives and contribute to that the citizens retain as much independence as possible through a care and nursing effort with a rehabilitative approach.

The first period

Initially, starting 15.12.26 or 1.1.2027 we hire for a department with space for temporary stays, where citizens can come to relieve relatives or because the citizen for one reason or another temporarily cannot stay at home

In January we expect to recruit for the nursing home department.

Your primary tasks

As an evening shift you and your colleagues will together support the citizens' physical and cognitive abilities, you will contribute to good meals and social interactions around the table and support a safe and calm ending to the day. Just as you, as needed, will perform nursing-related interventions and be an important part of the collaboration with relatives.

• Are a licensed social and health care assistant
• Have an interest and preferably experience within dementia, rehabilitation and elderly care
• Thrive in close collaboration and want to contribute with your professional skills
• Are engaged, flexible and responsible

Shifts

We are missing evening shifts in all combinations, so you will work 5-2 with shifts either every Monday and Tuesday or every Wednesday and Thursday plus long weekend in even or odd weeks.
