Social and health care assistant day, evening or night, to Grøndalshusene in Haslev. Social and health care assistant for the Dementia Village in Haslev.

Full-time or by agreement.

We are seeking a dedicated social and health care assistant for our dementia care home Grøndalshusene, located in the town of Haslev. The care home consists of 5 separate houses with 10 residents in each house. There are approx. 11 staff attached to each house.

As a social and health care assistant with us, it is essential that you possess solid professional knowledge and understanding of people with dementia, just as it is important that you have experience with the specialty.

Responsibilities

• Planning and carrying out assistant tasks in the houses in collaboration with the other assistants.
• Creating meaningful experiences for residents and relatives.
• Collaboration with the rest of the care staff to tailor care to the citizens' individual needs
• Be part of maintaining a homely atmosphere in the houses, among other things through daily activities and the celebration of holidays and other important events

Qualifications

• Relevant health care education ( SSA)
• Experience with the dementia field
• Ability to create safe and inclusive frameworks for the citizens.

• Empathetic and calm with understanding of people with dementia
• Strong relational skills
• Flexible and team-oriented
• Ability to take responsibility and work independently

Work is day shifts every 3rd weekend as a rule but every 2nd may also be possible,

In the evening shift there is weekend duty every 2 weeks.

In night shift there is weekend duty every 2nd week.
