Social pedagogues sought for Botilbud Skovmosen

We are seeking hourly-paid temporary staff with a social pedagogical or social- and health care assistant education to commence as soon as possible. We conduct ongoing recruitment interviews.

The working hours are a mix of day and evening shifts, including weekend shifts.

At the residential facility Skovmosen in Allerød we are seeking substitutes who will be part of our fixed substitute team. Our residential facility is known for offering individually tailored programs in safe and homely surroundings, where we value personal development and well-being for all residents and staff.

About us

Allerød residential facilities consist of four facilities: Skovmosen, Skovbo, Solvænget and Frederiksborgvej. Skovmosen has 14 places under §107. The target group is younger adults 18-30 years who are primarily challenged by mental vulnerability or/and ASF, possibly including a few residents with concomitant mild cognitive impairment.

About the position

• Provide one-to-one support to our residents and participate in the collaboration on planning the residents’ daily life through daily rhythm plans and weekly schedules.
• Facilitate and participate in shared activities and support residents in cooking and maintaining the home, to create safe and recognizable surroundings.
• Work targeted with sub-goals for the individual resident, so you support the individual's personal development.
• Contribute to an environment based on low arousal principles, where any conflicts are prevented and handled calmly and respectfully.

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience and knowledge within psychiatry
• Wants to work with mentalization-based milieu therapy with a focus on creating a safe environment where the individual can develop
• Has psychological resilience and is practically oriented, so you can tackle everyday tasks
• Thrives outdoors and sees the value in using nature's opportunities in pedagogical activities
• Meets people with a positive view of humanity and wants to make a difference in others’ lives.
