About the job

Support & Guidance, Wellbeing and Social Initiatives, Guldborgsund Municipality

We are seeking a health-care professional from 1 January 2027 for a permanent 37-hour-per-week position in the staircase-community Fleksbo Merkurs Plads.

Can you see yourself working in a position where no two workdays are the same? Then we have the job you should apply for!

Support for citizens in their own homes

The Fleksbo stairwell community supports citizens who live on the property, where the support is provided in the citizen's own home.

The work consists of delivering social-pedagogical support under the Service Act § 85 to citizens in their own homes. Here one works with a targeted approach based on the efforts that have been allocated by the central municipal visitation.

In Support & Guidance we have an ambition that practice should be rooted in a recovery-oriented and rehabilitative approach.

“We must strengthen citizens' opportunities to master their own lives and in cooperation with the citizens ensure that everyone participates in relevant communities.”

You will work with a wide range of guidance and support tasks with citizens, often aged 18 and up, who have complex issues, e.g.:

Mental illnesses

Cognitive and psychological challenges

Autism spectrum disorders

Low self-esteem and loneliness

Dual diagnoses

Your tasks include, among other things, supporting the citizen in relation to the allocated intervention under the Service Act § 85 with the aim of improving the citizen's functioning level or preventing the individual's situation from deteriorating.

This can, for example, take place through supportive conversations, practical support and guidance in ADL, support with treatments, medical visits and similar.

Written documentation takes place in collaboration with the fellow citizen through interventions and objectives in Nexus.

Expectations of you

We attach great importance to both your professional and relational skills, as most tasks are solved in collaboration with the citizen, colleagues in the team and cross-disciplinary partners.

We expect, among other things

That you have knowledge of mental vulnerability and social challenges and can translate professional knowledge and personal experience into practice.

That you can actively work with cognitive behavioral therapy based on the citizen's needs.

That you preferably are educated as a social educator or a social and health care assistant with knowledge of the area.

That you have experience with or knowledge of providing support under § 85.

That you have extensive experience with Nexus and SMART goals, so you can document based on outcome goals.

That you have a valid driver's license.

We can offer

An exciting workplace with a focus on high professional standards and personal development.

A high degree of self-planning and independence in task execution.

Skilled, engaged and authentic colleagues.

Competence development, professional sparring and supervision.

A workplace with good well-being and an attractive working environment.

The working hours consist of mixed shifts 7:00-15:00, 15:00-23:00 or 10:00-20:00 as well as night shifts in cases of illness or vacation.

During illness or vacation there may also be shifts in our telephone guidance line.

Employment terms

Employment is in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. The position is 37 hours per week.

The working hours consist of rotating shifts and weekend work.

We have internal applicants for the position.
