Nurses wanted for Health and Care Placements Vejle, Nær Sundhed, Lillebaelt Hospital

Would you like to be part of a very exciting assignment in connection with the implementation and establishment of the new Health and Care Plac es in Vejle? You will work in new and updated physical environments, and you will be an important teammate in building our new department.

We are seeking several authorized nurses who are passionate about complex citizen pathways, rehabilitation and the multidisciplinary collaboration in the close health services.

The positions are initially 37 hours/week; if you prefer a lower hours, there is also an option for that. You will enter a shift plan with weekend shifts. You can get a day shift, where you also have an evening shift or a position in a fixed evening shift.

Health and Care Plac es Vejle The staff group consists of social- and health care assistants, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, house assistants, service assistants and medical coverage from hospital and general practice.

Our core task is to receive citizens with complex needs for specialized nursing care, rehabilitation and palliation of a kind that cannot be solved in their own home, and a main task will be to bridge the gaps between the sectors.

Citizens shall be rehabilitated through close multidisciplinary collaboration, so the citizens’ strengths in relation to resources and health competencies, and thus regain their independence and a higher quality of life.

There will be close cross-sector collaboration with acute nursing in Near Health, general practitioners, responsible treatment wards, training as well as municipal help and nursing. The goal is that multihospitalized citizens come safely home to their own home, and that readmissions are prevented.

About the position As a nurse at Health and Care Plac es in Near Health the core task is to ensure that citizens with complex health needs receive a coherent, professionally qualified and safe intervention in the post-treatment period or as an alternative to hospitalization.

The core task is to strengthen functional ability and well-being of the individual citizen.

You will follow a structured and well-planned induction program. You will also have good opportunities to develop your competencies.

About the department Health and Care Plac es in Vejle are located at Brummersvej 1 A, 7100 Vejle, and are part of “Near Health” - a new department in Lillebælt Hospital, which is under construction.

Salary and employment terms Salary and employment terms for the position follow the Health Collective Agreement – Agreement 32.17.1 - salary as of 1.4.2026. The starting salary for the position can be found via the following link: See starting salary for positions in Region of Southern Denmark .

In addition to the starting salary, the pay may include negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications.
