On-call substitutes sought for Kraghaven – an ideal student job for pedagogy students

Are you a pedagogy student, interested in social work, or looking for a meaningful temporary job where you make a real difference for children and young people?

Kraghaven is seeking engaged substitutes for our social-pedagogical relief offering for children and young people with functional impairments.

With us you meet children and young people aged 2-18 years with very different needs and prerequisites. Some have cognitive or physical disabilities, diagnoses or syndromes, while others need special support for communication, structure and social communities. What unites them all is the need for safe adults who meet them with presence, patience and respect.

We are looking for you who

• Are a pedagogy student or have an interest in the special education field.
• Want to create good experiences and meaningful communities for children and young people.
• Are calm, caring and good at building relationships.
• Can work affirmatively and with a view to each individual's resources and development opportunities.
• Thrive in a daily life with both activities, structure, care and personal support.
• Have a desire to learn and develop professionally.

We offer

• Relevant experience in special education.
• Thorough introduction and training.
• Skilled and engaged colleagues who are happy to share their knowledge.
• Opportunity for professional development and insight into working with children and young people with disabilities.
• A meaningful job where you make a difference for both children, young people and their families.

Work hours

As a temp you will take on available shifts by agreement. The shifts take place on weekdays, weekends and holidays in the time window 06:00-22:15. There will be opportunities for both short and longer shifts, including 12-hour shifts on weekends and holidays. On weekdays the shifts are 6-8 and from 14/15 to 22. We also need substitutes for both sleeping and waking night shifts.

If you would like to become part of Kraghaven and gain valuable experience in the specialized children- and youth area, we would very much like to hear from you 🌟
