Two social- and health care assistants, preferably day shift, for Vestergaarden

A little about Vestergaarden

The Vestergaarden Nursing Home is located in Vestbyen and is a care home with 75 flats, of which 9 flats are a special ward for residents with various forms of dementia and cognitive challenges.

We prioritise both the lived and the living life in a homely and safe environment. We work from a rehabilitative approach with help to self-help. All professional groups work closely together in daily life, with a focus on enhancing people’s quality of life and trying to provide a meaningful everyday life through prevention, development and care.

A little about the position

There are two permanent positions as social and health care assistants, primarily in day shifts.

One position with work on even weekends, the other with work on odd weekends. You will participate in the daily work around the residents and participate in holistic care.

The positions are 37 hours per week as a starting point.

Employment is expected on 1 January 2027 for the odd weekend position, and on 1 February 2027 for the even weekend position.

Key main tasks

Participate in the daily work around the residents and give task solving a professional focus.

Contribute to professional sparring and reflection in everyday life through solving concrete resident pathways.

Keep rehabilitation focus in the encounter with the individual resident.

Professional competencies

You are educated as a social and health care assistant with authorization.

You thrive in a daily life that is dynamic and challenging.

We expect you to contribute with high professionalism and be keen to engage in a close interdisciplinary collaboration.

You can thrive in work with many different tasks and where the level of complexity varies.

You are comfortable working with CURA and FS3 and see documentation as a natural part of your work.

Personal competencies

You are responsible and good at collaborating across disciplines.

You perform your tasks independently and explore new ideas.

You are able to engage in collaboration with residents and their relatives based on their life story, their wishes and needs.

You take responsibility in the community and in creating a good working environment.

You meet the person with curiosity and interest.

Salary and employment terms

According to the applicable collective agreement for social and health personnel (73.01) concluded between KL and FOA.
