About the job

Are you keen to become part of a dedicated research team and expand your general clinical skills in orthopaedic surgery, then you have the chance now.

We are seeking one younger doctor with the right to independent practice and an interest in research.

About the position

In this position, a large part of the working time will consist of research-related tasks, where you will support ongoing research projects. This includes help with inclusion and follow-up of project patients both in clinical studies and database studies. In relation to research tasks, you will primarily collaborate with our project nurses, Ph.D. students and senior researchers. It may be possible to try independent research projects, but the role is primarily research-supportive.

In addition, there will be clinical functions in the department, rounds, operating room assistance and possibly outpatient function or emergency department duties. All roles come with the possibility of relevant supervision at the specialist level.

The position is basically unshifted, with day service Monday to Friday.

Primary place of work will be the Svendborg campus.

You will primarily be attached to our alloplastic sector and research tasks within this sector.

This is an unclassified position for immediate filling or by agreement. The starting point is 37 hours/week or as agreed in a 12-month position.

About the department

The orthopaedic surgery department is a large training department that is used to training doctors at all levels, which is why there is a tradition of supervision and focus on professional development.

We expect that you will also contribute to the education of younger colleagues and interdisciplinary collaboration.

You will work independently with respect for your competencies.

There is an introduction with buddy training in connection with the start.
