at Svanen at the adult center SampoVig, Stevns

Are you a wakeful night owl who would like to help our residents during the night?

And do you love continuous days off after several nights shifts?

You will ensure that our residents have the best conditions for a good night’s sleep, and when they need you, you are the helpful hands who guide them through the night. At the same time you will also be the one who helps the residents through their morning routine.

SampoVig is one of Marjatta’s four adult centers, where work is based on social pedagogical approaches from Rudolf Steiner’s worldview as well as Marjatta’s jointly developed value, goal and action framework.

In Svanen everyday life is simplified through rhythmic repetitions, so that residents can be competent in their own lives. We are a § 108 offer for 12 people with special needs aged 22 to 64. They are together and each for themselves depending on the moment and individual resources. By supporting the individual, the path to development and active participation in the community is opened.

We are seeking 1 night shift worker for 37 hours per week. The shifts are from 22:45 to 09:00 with work every other weekend (where you have time off in the morning).

You will as a night shift worker also be the one who helps residents in their morning rhythm.

We offer

  • Pedagogical and health-professional documentation.
  • A structured and rhythmic everyday life with care, meaningful tasks and activities.
  • Training and supervision
  • An workplace where the working environment is in focus.

We expect, among other things, that you

  • Are conscious of residents’ right to self-determination in daily life, as in all aspects of life
  • Are prepared to work according to Marjatta’s jointly developed value, goal and action framework
  • Are curious about and interested in working from Steiner’s anthroposophic view of humanity
  • Support and guide residents in a respectful manner
  • Are positive and professionally grounded
  • Take responsibility for your work and your professional influence on the residents
  • Have an eye for the fact that you are in the residents’ home
  • Are appreciative and respectful in your approach to people
  • Can express yourself in writing, and used to documenting the professional effort
  • General PC skills.
