Assistant Nursing Home Manager for Plejecenter Vibedal

We are seeking, as of January 1, 2027, an assistant nursing home manager, who together with the center manager will lead the daily operations and the continued development of Vibedal Nursing Center in the town of Thisted.

Together with the care center manager you as assistant leader with an appreciative and relational leadership style can set the direction, lead, create solutions in the community and inspire our skilled employees.

The management task for the assistant nursing home manager is to provide visible and present leadership very close to each individual employee, so their well-being and development are supported for the benefit of the residents.

You contribute to the development of workflows and to translating new initiatives into practice, including work with holistic care and the Elderly Act's intentions.

About Vibedal

Vibedal Nursing Center consists of 62 care apartments, distributed across three somatic housing units and a special ward for people who have a dementia disorder. We have an activity and day center offering and a welcome kitchen. We have excellent physical facilities indoors and outdoors for both residents and staff.

We are a staff group of 80 employees with diverse professional backgrounds, all focused on high professionalism as well as a good working environment and well-being in daily life.

Our goal is that Vibedal should be a good and safe place to live, where residents experience that their individual wishes and needs are respected and where relatives and volunteers want to come and feel welcome.

About us

Emphasis is placed on a leadership collaboration between the care center manager and the assistant manager, where there is room for sparring, different perspectives and shared responsibility – and where we make decisions together and follow them through.

You will also become part of a dedicated management team consisting of leaders from the other seven municipal general nursing centers, who meet twice a month with the area manager. There is ongoing management sparring and you will join a sparring group.

We are looking for an assistant leader with

• A health-professional education and who maybe already has leadership experience or wishes to take the next step into leadership.
• An interest in conducting professional leadership.
• An empathetic and trust-based leadership style that emphasizes presence, recognition, psychological safety, well-being and the good working environment as the foundation for a good workplace.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to implement strategies and political visions and goals into actions and concrete initiatives in daily operations in collaboration with the center manager.
• Who has an interest in learners and is passionate about a good study environment.

Employment

Salary is set according to the applicable collective agreement and the principles of local wage formation. The specific salary range will be provided prior to the interview.

The position is a permanent full-time position with start date January 1, 2027.
