Center Nurse sought for a permanent position at Vellingshøj Elderly Care Center

As our colleague has chosen to pursue other paths, we are looking for a dedicated, caring nurse who can oversee many tasks at a changing pace while maintaining the good collaboration and strong communication. So it is YOU we are seeking with start on January 1, 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The position is, as a rule, day shift 35-37 hours per week.

About the position and Vellingshøj Elderly Center

We are an elderly care center consisting of 5 houses, of which 4 are somatic with 10 apartments each and 1 dementia unit with 8 apartments. We therefore place great emphasis on flexibility and collaboration across the houses.

There is a shared dining room/common room in each house and there may be various activities in the houses. In addition to the activities the staff carry out with residents, we have Vellingshøj's friends who make a huge effort to ensure our residents experience extra activities.

You will become a central team player in the health professional tasks that need to be solved around the residents in the houses. We expect you to contribute to a calm and safe working environment, with focus on high professionalism.

We work, among other things, with approaches in neuro-pedagogy, Durawall method, and targeted interventions for the residents. You will be prepared for the new elderly law.

The position includes among other things

• To help implement the new elderly law as well as the Teams structure
• Maintain an overview when tasks press on from both the documentation system and colleagues calling
• That you see opportunities rather than limitations

• To coordinate and create an overview of the health professional tasks
• To advise and spar with colleagues based on your professional knowledge
• To collaborate across professional groups

• Communicates clearly and documents precisely and professionally
• Takes responsibility and contributes positively to the community
• Wants to work with older people at different stages of life and collaborate with their relatives.
