Nutrition Assistant for Daycare Søndermark – 35-37 hours with commencement 01.01.27 or as soon as possible

We are looking for a new colleague who will help spark children's curiosity about food, give them food confidence and exciting culinary experiences.

In our kitchen we follow the Horsens municipality's climate plan for more climate-friendly food, the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration's recommendations, and prioritize organic farming – therefore our kitchen delivers varied and tasty meals where cooking from scratch is prioritized.

Therefore we are seeking a committed nutrition assistant who is stable, enjoys cooking for children, and can identify with the following:

Daily tasks together with our meal manager and colleague

• Cooking and baking – at three sites
• Produce meals for 102 kindergarten and 194 nursery children
• General kitchen work, including cleaning, dishwashing, receipt of goods m.m.
• Serving and presenting meals, as well as daily food transport between two sites (short distance)

Professional competencies

• You are a trained nutrition assistant
• You have a relevant kitchen professional background
• You have experience with 100 users
• You can operate e-smiley and collaborate with external suppliers
• You can argue professionally and engage in dialogue with the educational staff
• You can produce food independently as well as in collaboration with other kitchen staff

Personal competencies

• Have an overview in a busy daily life
• Are independent, efficient and stable
• Are service-minded and appreciative
• Have a desire to interact with many children and adults
• Positive approach to collaboration with colleagues and management
