Educator for Filosofvænget's nursery (30-37 hours per week)

Do you want to work in a nursery where high professionalism, with presence, care, security and communities, are key words in daily pedagogical practice?

If you want to be in a nursery where an appreciative approach, development at child level in the children's communities and a strong parent collaboration are a cornerstone of the pedagogical approach and practice for children and parents, then Filosofvænget is the right place for you. We are looking for a pedagogue who has interest or experience with nature, language and/or movement work with this target group, as we need to strengthen the professionalism around these themes.

You will be attached to a nursery group with 13 children, together with three assistants, where you have influence on daily pedagogical practice and can receive daily/weekly sparring from your colleagues/leader. You will work in a room team and a cross-house team, where we have different meeting forums to qualify the daily life for the children.

It is a group of colleagues with high professionalism you will be working with, who work purposefully based on the above. We work in teams and have the philosophy - teamwork makes the dream work. We are professionally skilled, engaged, active, stable and with a good tone and good humor in everyday life, so we all succeed as best as possible.

We work to create high quality with the methods and principles around TOPI - early spotting, Marte Meo, the 10 language strategies, language staircase and reading play and expect everyone to contribute to the professional track, so together we set a high professional level. We have two resource workers employed, whom we can use in our cluster, focusing on the development of pedagogical quality, language work and parent collaboration.

They are trained as a pedagogue and a social worker respectively and are both Marte Meo trained. We prioritize joint training, we have common pedagogical themes for all staff insofar as possible, so we create shared knowledge and a common language.

We are therefore looking for a pedagogue who

• can work at child level, likes children and enjoys play
• can create predictable routines for the children in collaboration with colleagues
• can take responsibility for pedagogy and parent collaboration in the room
• is professionally conscious and regards the work as a pedagogue as an ongoing learning process
• has good collaboration skills with parents, colleagues, leadership and external partners
• can contribute energy and courage to the good working environment and help create a strong work community
• can reflect on their own practice in interaction with colleagues
• can document their pedagogical work both verbally and in writing
• willing to help further develop our pedagogical practice
• is good at planning, structuring and carrying out both spontaneous and planned activities

The Filosofvænget nursery is normed for 72 children, distributed across six rooms. We are located in a large, bright three-story house with good physical facilities. We have a couple of lovely playgrounds divided into play zones with good opportunities in the outdoor environment. Bispebjerg Cemetery and Utterslev Mose are in our vicinity on the edge of Nordvest, which provides more possibilities in the outdoor space. We work closely together across rooms and across floors with a focus on strengthening child/employee communities across the house.

Employment terms

Salary and terms follow the applicable collective agreement. Qualified pedagogues will be considered, and the application must include documentation of education, previous employment and CV.
