And can you combine your pedagogical expertise with your outdoor heart to activate adult citizens with disabilities and/or permanently reduced function? Udeholdet is a pedagogical learning and employment offering based on Amager. We are looking for a grounded pedagogue who knows how to trim the hedge, mow the lawn, and take care of all the practical aspects of green spaces, which is a really good place to engage people with disabilities.

Our goal is to create a safe, acknowledging environment that promotes citizens' development opportunities and social skills.

You will have six good colleagues with competencies and interest in the pedagogical task to make a special effort with the citizens in Captum.

About us

We are part of the organization Captum, which is an activities and employment offering, consisting of a wide range of initiatives. The target group is citizens with disabilities and/or permanently reduced function from 18 years and up. Citizens are assessed through § 103 and § 104.

The house is divided into three teams, which collaborate on the common task solution, where Udeholdet is part of the work community team Service.

Your primary tasks

• Support and guide the citizens in the team’s daily tasks, including planning, structure, performing gardening work and handyman tasks.
• Learn from you and support the citizens in processes related to maintenance of green areas.
• Create trusting relationships and motivate each citizen based on their individual development potential.
• Daily documentation, preparing citizen descriptions and sub-goals (we work in Domus) and participate in meetings and collaborate across disciplines.

We are looking for you, who have the following professional and personal competencies

• You are a trained pedagogue, professionally grounded and able to convert pedagogical goals into concrete actions and activities.
• You have experience within the special field, are good at motivating others and can see the potential in each individual.
• You have interests in, and competencies for, maintaining green spaces, have hands that work well, and have practical craftsmanship skills.
• You can initiate and follow planned pathways to a job, where structure and work identity are in the foreground.
• You are clear in your communication and can set frameworks.
• You can work independently, but also have good collaboration skills and an overview in a busy day, and actively contribute to the team and to the sense of community.

It is a requirement that you have a driving license, as we drive out and supervise goats at Amagerfælled.

Salary and employment

The position is a permanent full-time employment with 37 hours per week. We would like you to start on January 1, 2027. Salary and employment are according to the current collective agreement for pedagogical staff. Before employment we will obtain a criminal record, and we will also check references.
