About the job
We have a workplace full of good stories. Now we need you who can tell them!
Do you want to help demonstrate what makes the Danish Artillery Regiment an attractive place to work? Do you have an eye for a good story and can you translate it into content that sparks interest and engagement? Then here you have the opportunity to put your mark on how we tell about our regiment, our employees and everyday life with us.
About us
S1 is part of the staff at the Danish Artillery Regiment (DAR) and is responsible for the regiment’s personnel management. We work, among other things, with onboarding, appointments, duty rosters and advising leaders and employees. Going forward, we will also play an important role in strengthening the regiment’s visibility and attractiveness as an employer.
The section consists of a chief, an administration element, a personnel management element, and a new Attractiveness and Integration element. Here you will become part of a team of three employees, where you will have the primary responsibility for employer branding.
With us the tone is informal, and we place emphasis on mutual respect, good humor and professional sparring. We help each other and work closely with the rest of the staff and the regiment’s leadership.
We take pride in meeting our colleagues at eye level and delivering advice and support that make a difference in daily life. At the same time you will have the opportunity to plan your work day yourself, with room for both tasks and private life.
The position
We are looking for an Employer Branding employee who can put words, images and personality on our regiment.
You know that a good workplace is more than salary in the bank and a coffee machine that (hopefully) works. It’s about people, belonging, development and all the things that make you look forward to going to work—even on a Monday.
We are looking for you who can tell the good stories about our employees, our culture and our daily life. You who can make us visible and attractive to both future colleagues and those who are already part of the team.
You don’t need to be able to conjure magic, but if you can get a good story out of a busy Tuesday, a colleague with a passion for their work or a coffee with good company, you are already well on your way!
What will you do?
Your tasks will include, among other things
- Tell our stories: Develop creative and engaging content about our employees, culture, values and daily life.
- Create visibility: Plan and produce content for social media, the website, career page and other relevant channels in collaboration with the regiment’s press and information officer. Also participate in recruitment events.
- Show the people behind the company: Take photos, make short videos, write portraits and find the stories that make us unique.
- Attract new colleagues: Support recruitment with employer branding initiatives that make the right candidates think: “That could be me!”
- Strengthen internal belonging: Contribute to initiatives that engage our employees and make them proud of their workplace, including being part of the Working Group Attractive Workplace.
- Cross-collaboration: Work closely with HR, communications, leaders and employees – because the best stories often lie where you least expect it.
- Monitor impact: Keep an eye on what works and use data and feedback to make our efforts even better.
In short: You will help make our workplace visible, present and attractive – both from within and outward.
Who are you?
We imagine that you
- Have a relevant education or experience in communication, marketing, HR, social media or employer branding.
- Are a strong storyteller who can write vividly, clearly and purposefully for different audiences.
- Have a flair for social media and know how to create content that catches attention.
- Are creative and curious and have an eye for the stories that make our workplace interesting.
- Are keen to work with images and video and preferably have experience producing content for digital channels.
- Can plan, coordinate and follow your tasks through, even when new ideas and needs arise along the way.
- Are good at collaborating, building relationships and seeking out stories across the organization.
You don’t need to know the Defense in advance. The most important is that you are curious about our everyday life, want to get to know the regiment, and can tell credibly about the people and tasks that make the workplace special.
What can you expect from us?
You will have the opportunity to influence how we tell the story of the Danish Artillery Regiment as an employer.
You will become part of a new element, where there is room to think anew, test ideas and develop our work with employer branding. You will have the opportunity to work strategically with our visibility and also to create content that makes a difference.
We believe the best stories stem from close to people. Therefore you will have the opportunity to move around the regiment, meet our employees and experience the daily life you will help to convey.
You will have colleagues who are happy to share their knowledge, and a workplace where collaboration, professionalism and good humor are a natural part of everyday life.
And yes, there will also be meetings, deadlines and practical tasks. But there will also be room for creativity, new ideas and good stories.
Shall we tell the story together?
Can you see yourself in the role, and would you like to help make the Danish Artillery Regiment more visible as an employer? Then we would like to hear from you.
Send us your application and CV. Please tell us how you would approach the task, and how you can help make our regiment a workplace that more people want to be a part of.
We look forward to hearing from you!
P.S. If you have humor, good ideas and a particular fondness for a good headline, you will probably fit in well with us.
Conditions of employment
You will be employed in accordance with the then-current collective agreement.
Depending on your qualifications and competencies, there is a possibility for negotiation of supplements. There is an employer-funded pension scheme attached to the position.
The workplace is in Oksbøl.
As an employee under the Defense Agency area you are subject to certain special terms. You must, among other things, be able to obtain a security clearance and maintain the security clearance throughout the employment.
You have as an employee the duty to perform service outside the country’s borders, including at units in international operations with a view to participating in conflict prevention, peacekeeping, peacemaking, humanitarian and other similar operations.
