Educator or Pedagogical Assistant for a maternity-leave position for FO at Sankt Helene School in Tisvilde

We are looking for a committed colleague who will make a difference in children’s everyday lives. You will become part of a strong professional community with the possibility of collaboration hours in the school and influence on the children’s well-being and development.

About the position

The position is 30 hours per week, with start as soon as possible. The position is primarily in FO, and there will also be opportunities for collaboration hours in the school, where you will work closely with teachers and other staff to create a coherent and safe everyday life for the children.

We are looking for an educator or pedagogical assistant who can

• Create safe and developmentally stimulating frameworks for the children in FO
• Plan and carry out pedagogical activities
• Support children’s well-being, development and participation in communities
• Participate in collaboration hours in the school and contribute to the whole of the children’s day
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and other professionals
• Contribute to the pedagogical development and the professional community
• Be present and good at building relationships

We offer

Sankt Helene School is a small school, well anchored in the local community with a department for younger students in Tisvilde and a department for older children in Vejby. The Tisvilde department primarily serves 0nd-5th grade. Our FO, after-school care, is also located in Tisvilde and has two departments: Oasen and Kaktussen. Our school and FO are set in scenic surroundings close to forest and beach, and we actively use the outdoors for play, movement, relationships and pedagogical activities that contribute to strengthening the children’s well-being, curiosity and development.

The position is 30 hours per week.

The appointment is temporary and event-based, as this is a maternity-leave vacancy. The vacancy is expected to last until December 31, 2027.

Start from January 1, 2026 or as soon as possible.

Salary according to current collective agreement.

We obtain a child and criminal record check.

Start as soon as possible or 1 January 2027.
