About the job

Are you an experienced nurse, paramedic or clinician and do you want to be part of a strong professional community where collaboration, wellbeing and high quality go hand in hand? - Then perhaps you are the one we are looking for.

With us you become part of an engaged team, where we each day tackle a societally critical task together. We believe that the best solutions are created through strong professionalism, close collaboration and a work environment where there is room for development, support and humanity.

When the phone rings, you make a difference

When a citizen calls 1-1-2, it is often in a situation characterized by uncertainty, concern or acute illness. Here you are the first health professional contact, and your involvement can be decisive.

Through a structured conversation you create an overview of the situation and assess what assistance is needed. With your professional experience, your ability to listen and your calm under pressure you help ensure that the citizen receives the right help at the right time.

You meet people with very different needs, from acute somatic conditions and serious traumas to complex psychiatric issues. That is precisely why professionalism, curiosity and good collaborative skills are essential.

Professionalism and community go hand in hand

At the AMK Dispatch Center we never face the task alone. Health professionals such as visitators, AMK doctors, dispatchers, message receivers and shift leaders work closely together toward a common goal: to create the best pathways for citizens.

We place emphasis on professional sparring, knowledge sharing and learning. At the same time we actively work for a working environment characterized by psychological safety, respect and collegial support.
