About the job
Would you like to help lead and develop a team that creates excellent customer experiences in an international financial company where performance, quality and development go hand in hand?
Do you thrive in a role where you combine leadership, sales and collections with close cross-department collaboration? Then this position could be the next step in your career.
The company is a private, international credit institution with headquarters in Malta, which operates under and complies with the EU banking regulatory framework and is licensed by the Maltese financial services authority (MFSA). The company offers products in both card/held values and micro-loans across several European markets. The headquarters is located in a place with more than 300 sunny days per year, and here around 250 employees work across 16 different nationalities in departments such as finance, debt management, operations, HR, sales, IT and payments.
As a Team Leader you will be part of a growing lending market, where you will be responsible for leading the Danish Sales & Collections team of under 10 agents. You will be an important part of a multinational environment where you can develop your leadership skills and experience everything Malta has to offer.
What does a Team Leader for Sales & Collections do?
In this role you will be responsible for leading, coaching and developing your team with a focus on performance, quality and customer experience. You drive sales results, customer onboarding and document verification in accordance with the company policies, and you own key KPIs such as conversion rates, default rates and collections results.
You monitor daily activities, goals and deadlines across both sales and collections, and you collaborate closely with other departments to ensure transparent and efficient processes, while ensuring compliance with the company's ethical guidelines and compliance standards.
Contribute to the team and development
As Team Leader you will have the opportunity to support the development of collections strategies and ensure a fair and customer-oriented approach in everything the team does. You will be part of a culture that focuses on growth, collaboration and continuous process improvement – and where your leadership experience can make a real difference.
Your responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop the Danish Sales & Collections team with a focus on performance, quality and customer experience
- Drive sales results, customer onboarding and document verification in accordance with the company policies and procedures

- Support the development and execution of collections strategies with a focus on fair and customer-oriented handling
- Monitor daily activities, goals and deadlines across sales and collections, and take action when results need to improve
- Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure transparent and effective collaboration
- Ensure compliance with the company's ethical guidelines, compliance standards and related policies
Your qualifications
- Previous leadership experience, preferably within sales, collections, customer service, financial services or a performance-driven environment
- Fluent English; Danish skills are a clear advantage but not required
- Ability to motivate, coach and lead a small team across sales and collections
- Commercial mindset with understanding of KPIs, targets and performance tracking
- Customer-oriented approach with confidence to handle sensitive customer situations professionally
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office; experience with customer databases is a plus
- Detail-oriented, proactive and with high work standards
- Willingness to learn, improve processes and grow with the Danish market
Salary and benefits
- Annual salary of 35-40,000 Euro / gross plus 10% bonus
- Close cross-disciplinary collaboration with no formal barriers – there are many opportunities both within and outside your current role
- Good coffee and weekly Friday beers
- Strong focus on growth, development and celebrating successes
- An inclusive, multicultural and diverse work environment with many nationalities represented
- Work from the headquarters in Malta, where around 250 employees from 16 nationalities are based
