We work with a focus on person-centered care. With us, the relationship and contact with the resident come before the task; we use our knowledge of the residents' lived lives to build relationships with them. We hold weekly resident reviews to ensure residents' well-being.

We are a department with 30 residents, with more or less complex health and nursing problems. The department is characterized by a staff group with high professionalism, high spirits, good collegiality, and a wish to help each other become better and stronger. The department manager is close to the residents, the staff, and the operation.

As a nurse you will have the overall health and nursing responsibility for our 30 residents. You should, like us, have the desire to work with a focus on each individual's quality of life through relationship-building. You will be responsible for registering and summarizing reports of UTH, and together with the department manager and staff assess learning needs or actions related to UTH. We triage daily in all shifts.

The staff, which is a cross-disciplinary and highly competent group, will primarily use you for professional sparring, training in new tasks, competence development, and teaching, etc. Your future colleagues in the department would like you to be able to contribute in many ways, so it is expected that you participate in a collaboration where you are driven by making your surroundings more skilled. You must be able to contribute an overview of complex tasks and teach others.

We work with My MedCards and MySkills. We therefore have the perfect tool to support professional development which you, in close cooperation with management, will help drive. You should be interested in familiarizing yourself with the Health and Service Act within our area, as well as ensuring that our documentation is always sharp. Your colleagues in the department should not have to document more; they should just be supported/practised in documenting in the right places.

We imagine that you will work with us between 32-37 hours a week - Monday to Friday mainly day shifts and occasional holidays, which are distributed between you and your other nurse colleagues. Staggered shifts occur in connection with competency clarification of our evening shifts, you have influence over these shifts. There may be 3-4 work weeks annually, but it is not planned. You should, however, be open to the possibility. There are a total of four nurses at Trekroner Nursing Center, distributed with one nurse on each floor.

Your tasks include

• “Hands-on nurse” with residents – including being able to handle complex issues either alone or in professional sparring with your colleagues in the department or your nursing colleagues.
• Ward rounds in collaboration with the SSA and the department doctor.
• Teaching of colleagues and students.
• Focus on quality assurance and patient safety.
• Development, implementation and teaching of new initiatives, including changed workflows and new guidelines.

Your competencies

• Aurthorised and educated nurse.
• Have an overview, sense of order and can act independently.
• Continuously reflect on your own practice and wish to develop your personal and professional competences.
• Desire to develop and teach.
• Possess sound experience in IT – it would be an advantage if you have knowledge of KMD Nexus.
• Wish to supervise nursing students, and want to take a postgraduate education as a clinical supervisor if you do not already have it.
