About the job
Are you ready to take the next step in your sales career while creating a new daily life in Southern Spain?
At TMPO we are looking for an engaged and results-oriented Team Manager who is passionate about sales, appointment setting and developing people.
You will be part of our existing leadership team in Málaga, where you will work closely with our current Team Manager. You will each have your own team, but work in parallel and share responsibility for creating a strong appointment-setting department where employees thrive, develop and deliver good results.
You will have the daily management responsibility for a team of about 5-10 employees who work with appointment setting and sales activities on behalf of various clients and industries.
We are looking for a leader who wants to be a leader in practice.
At TMPO we believe that the best results are created close to the employees. Therefore we are not looking for a leader who prefers to spend the workday in meetings, spreadsheets and reports.
We are seeking a visible and engaged leader who wants to be present on the floor, listen in on conversations, help employees, give constructive feedback and actively contribute to creating results.
Reporting, planning and meetings are of course part of the job, but your most important task will be to develop people and to create results through active and hands-on leadership.
In short: We are looking for a leader who creates results together with their team, not just follows them on a screen.
About TMPO
TMPO helps companies achieve results through professional sales, telemarketing, appointment setting and customer dialogue.
Our employees work on behalf of various companies and with different types of sales activities. The tasks can be aimed at both businesses and individuals, and therefore you as a team manager must be able to achieve results across different target groups, products and customer types.
We work purposefully with both activity, quality and the results we create for our customers.
We believe that good results are created through clear goals, strong sales leadership, ongoing training and a working environment where employees are seen, challenged and helped to succeed.
Your role as team manager
As team manager you will be responsible for your own team's daily operation, staffing, well-being and performance.
You must be visible and present in the daily production. That means you spend a substantial part of your workday with the employees, where you help them become better through active coaching, listening and concrete feedback.
You closely monitor the team's results, respond to deviations and ensure that employees know what is expected of them and how they can develop.
You must be able to translate numbers and results into concrete actions, but we place just as much emphasis on your ability to motivate people and create a culture where everyone works toward common goals.
At the same time you will be part of our existing leadership team, where you work closely with the other Team Manager, the center manager and the client managers.
You jointly lead your respective teams on an equal footing, spar about challenges and share experiences and working methods, so that you together contribute to the department's overall development.
We expect you to take responsibility for your own team, but also actively contribute to the community and the department's results.
Your main tasks
You will among other things be responsible for
- Daily management, motivation and development of 5-10 employees.
- Active presence on the sales floor, where you help, coach and support employees in their daily work.
- Individual coaching, listening and concrete feedback on employees' conversations.
- Training in sales techniques, need assessment, questioning techniques and handling objections.
- Planning daily staffing and task distribution.
- Ongoing follow-up on activity, KPIs, quality and the team’s overall performance.
- Identifying challenges and initiating concrete improvements.
- Training and onboarding of new employees.
- Ensuring high quality in the team’s work and meeting customers’ expectations.
- Close collaboration and sparring with the other Team Manager on shared goals, methods and development.
- Participation in relevant meetings and necessary reporting and follow-up to management and our customers.
Your primary task is to ensure that employees succeed, and that the team moves in the right direction every day.
Who are you?
You have experience with sales, telemarketing or appointment setting and know what it takes to create good results over the phone.
You understand that performance is not only about setting goals. It’s also about clear communication, consistent follow-up, training, feedback and the ability to get different people to succeed.
You may already be a team leader, supervisor or sales coach. Alternatively you are a strong and experienced sales profile who wants and has the personal skills to take the step into leadership.
The crucial thing is not your current title, but your experience, your attitude and your ability to create results through others.
We imagine that you
- Have solid experience with sales, telemarketing or appointment setting.
- Have a strong commercial understanding and are motivated by creating results.
- Are passionate about developing and motivating other people.
- Have positive energy and can contribute to a strong culture in the team.
- Thrive with an active daily life close to the employees.
- Are clear in your expectations and follow up on agreements consistently.
- Can combine responsibility for results with an empowering and respectful leadership style.
- Are structured and work systematically with data, quality and follow-up.
- Can translate KPIs and results into concrete actions in daily operations.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, with clear goals and a focus on development.
- Can collaborate closely with other leaders and contribute constructively to shared decisions.
- Take responsibility, respond to deviations and follow up until tasks are solved.
You are not the type to wait for problems to be presented at a meeting. You notice them yourself because you are present, take initiative and act.
We also expect that you want to develop as a leader and are open to sparring, feedback and new ways of working.
Previous personnel management is an advantage but not a requirement. The most important thing is that you have the right sales experience, maturity and a genuine desire to create results through others.
What we offer
At TMPO you get a leadership position with real influence on both employees' daily lives and the team's results.
We offer
- Attractive local salary with a fixed base salary and potential for performance-based bonus.
- Permanent full-time employment on a Spanish contract ( contrato indefinido ).
- Daily leadership responsibility for your own team of 5-10 employees.
- A place in an existing leadership team with close collaboration and professional sparring.
- Opportunity to shape the team's culture, working methods and results.
- A workplace with short decision paths and room for initiative.
- Good opportunities for professional and managerial development.
- A professional work environment with engaged colleagues.
- Help finding an apartment in connection with your move to Spain.
- An exciting daily life in international surroundings close to all that Málaga and the Costa del Sol offer.
You may have already considered what it would be like to live and work abroad. Perhaps you have simply been waiting for the right opportunity.
With this position you do not need to choose between a serious career and the wish for a different daily life.
Málaga gives you the opportunity to live in a vibrant city with beaches, restaurants, culture and a large international environment. At the same time you can continue your career in a Danish organisation and work with Danish colleagues and Danish customers.
We know that moving to another country is a big decision. Therefore we help you find an apartment so you get a good start to life in Málaga.
Are you ready to take the next step?
Do you have experience with sales or appointment setting, and are you motivated to develop people and create results through a team?
Do you thrive best when you are an active part of everyday life, close to the employees, and when you can see that your effort makes a difference?
Then the position of Team Manager at TMPO in Málaga could be your next career step.
