Jobcenter Varde seeks Youth Consultant for Ungeløftet

Are you passionate about making a difference for young people aged 15 to 29?

We are seeking a youth consultant for Ungeløftet, 37 hours per week, from 1 January 2027.

Ungeløftet is a nationwide initiative designed to help young people aged 15 to 29 enter the labor market and the community.

As a youth consultant you will primarily work with young people in the target group for "More young people to participate", and your task is to support young people without work or education to achieve employment. The initiative also has a strong focus on collaboration with companies, which is a big part of the job. You will become part of a strong team with 4 colleagues, and in Ungeløftet in Varde we have the following areas of focus:

• Fritidsvejledning

In the Job Center we are about 120 employees distributed across 6 departments. As an employee in the Department of Youth and Integration you will work together with 23 colleagues. Our main target groups are Young people receiving cash benefits, Young people in the Ungeløftet target group, and citizens in the Integration target group, both unemployed and self-supporting.

We can offer you a good interaction with experienced and engaged colleagues who focus on cross-departmental collaboration and coordinated efforts. We work from a common core task.

About you

• Your background is social worker
• You preferably have experience as a business consultant and possibly from Ungeløftet
• You see the value in paid hours as a difference for the young person
• You work in a supportive and motivational manner
• You can engage in dialogue with the citizen and develop concrete plans together with the citizen, other relevant partners or companies.
• You have good collaboration skills and master cross-disciplinary dialogue and collaboration, both internally and externally

Core task in Job Center Varde is to ensure the municipality's businesses qualify workers and help people as best as possible - regardless of age and functional level - to self-support based on the value that this indeed provides quality of life. In very special cases this may not be possible, and then the task, as far as possible, is to ensure the individual has a financial foundation.

Salary according to applicable collective agreement.
